So we planted some basil...
and then planted some more in case the deer ate it, then some more in case it dried out and died, then some more cause you can never have too much basil, right?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
The best part? This was out THIRD picking. And we have one more to go before the frost gets the plants. So brace yerselves family, your ALL getting pesto for christmas. Lots and lots of pesto. Damn. I think we may need a bigger freezer.

Hi! The Paddling Knitter button is just a button I created because I'm a Paddling Knitter. My friend Jenni (http://jenni.typepad.com/) has it on her blog too. You're welcome to use it if you'd like. :) I made it to identify myself to others like us. I was surprised at the number of people who are Paddling Knitters. It's not staggering, but there are quite a few. :)
